Following the recent release of a whole load of absolutely gorgeous stills from the new Alice in Wonderland Movie from Tim Burton, a new teaser trailer has just hit the net.

Although, there are no surprises in either the casting or the visual style of the film (Johnny Depp? Check. Helena Bonham Carter? Check. Skeletal trees winding around wrought iron gates? Check) it is still enough to get us seriously excited for next March when we finally see this dark fairy tale.

Set after the events of Lewis Carroll's novels, the film sees a 19 year old Alice (Wasikowska) returning to the dark and mysterious wonderland and presumably meeting all the residents yshe so memorably encountered before.

The fact that said residents are played by the likes of Depp, Crispin Glover, Alan Rickman and co. makes this an incredibly exciting cast for any genre fan.

The trailer, giving us our first glimpse of Wonderland unsuprsingly focuses on Depp who seems to be channeling a bit of Captain Jack into his rather frightening Mad Hatter. Just how frightening he is we'll have to wait until next March to find out.
