It looks as though fans of Kevin Tenney's cheapo schlock fest, Night of the Demons, will have to wait just a little bit longer to lay eyes on the very fun looking remake.

Fangoria have just reported that Seven Arts Pictures have pushed the release date back from October this year all the way to February 2010. Quite why they have done this isn't certain at present but with a glut of new horrors debuting around that time it isn't hugely surprising.

While obviously disappointing, the good news is that the film will be still making it world premiere at London's Fright Fest this month and we will be there to bring you the lowdown.

Night of the Demons boasts a cast of some of the hottest genre actresses around at the moment including Tiffany Shepis, Shannon Elizabeth and Bobbi Sue Luther (who we last saw going toe to toe with the shiny-masked ChromeSkull in Laid To Rest) as well as a welcome return for John Connor himself, Edward Furlong.
