Blogomatic 3000 have just posted a bunch of new stills from the very tasty looking Splice, Vincenzo Natali's (Cube) new genetic engineering-gone -wild sci-fi monster movie.
Havig already seen 5 minutes of footage at London's Frightfest 2009 we can attest that this film looks excellent. The sequence we saw had the recently born creature hopping around a lab and the effects were absolutely superb. The tone was also very definitely of a more cerebral bent with the frankenstein-esque themes of science gone crazy very apparent. The pictures show the creature at different stages in its life with the very intriguing mutant female thing above being the most interesting. We were looking forward to this one anyway but now we really mean it.
